Claro Enterprise Solutions: Scalable IT & Cybersecurity Services
Claro Enterprise Solutions provides global managed ICT services, specializing in cybersecurity, cloud, and connectivity for multinationals across the Americas.
Overview
Claro Enterprise Solutions (CES), a subsidiary of América Móvil, is a leading global provider of Managed Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions. Headquartered in Florida, CES serves as the enterprise arm for one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, leveraging a vast network infrastructure that spans across the Americas and Europe. The company specializes in delivering integrated solutions that include Cybersecurity, Cloud Services, Connectivity, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
CES is primarily focused on serving medium-to-large enterprises and multinational corporations that require robust, scalable, and secure digital transformation tools. Their market presence is particularly strong in the United States and Latin America, where they act as a strategic bridge for companies expanding across borders. The company’s history is rooted in the evolution of telecommunications into comprehensive digital services; while they began with a focus on voice and data, they have pivoted aggressively into managed security and cloud integration to meet the demands of the modern distributed workforce.
Today, Claro Enterprise Solutions operates as a technology integrator. Their core business focus is helping organizations navigate the complexities of global digital infrastructure. By providing managed services, they allow their clients to offload the day-to-day management of IT environments, focusing instead on their core business objectives. Their portfolio includes high-capacity internet, SD-WAN, private cloud hosting, and a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity services ranging from threat intelligence to managed firewall services.
Positioning
Claro Enterprise Solutions positions itself as the "Global Partner with a Local Presence." Their strategic positioning is built on the pillars of reliability, global reach, and simplified management. In a crowded market of niche startups and rigid legacy carriers, CES carves out a space as the agile global integrator. They target IT leaders (CIOs and CISOs) who are overwhelmed by the complexity of managing multiple regional vendors and are seeking to consolidate their stack without sacrificing performance.
Their messaging focuses heavily on "Security-First Connectivity." While many competitors treat networking and security as separate silos, CES positions them as a single, inseparable entity. This is particularly effective for their target segments in finance, healthcare, and retail, where data integrity is paramount. Compared to major US-based carriers, CES emphasizes its superior footprint and operational expertise in the Latin American market, positioning itself as the premier choice for companies with cross-border operations. They differentiate from pure-play MSPs by owning the network assets, and they differentiate from traditional telcos by offering a more flexible, consultative, and customer-centric service model. Their brand is built on the promise of being an extension of the client's IT team rather than just another service provider.
Differentiation
The Claro Enterprise Solutions product portfolio is defined by the integration of global connectivity with advanced software-defined networking and security. Unlike standalone software vendors, CES provides the underlying network infrastructure combined with managed "over-the-top" services. A primary differentiator is their Secure SD-WAN and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) offerings, which leverage América Móvil’s Tier 1 global backbone to ensure lower latency and higher reliability than providers relying solely on the public internet.
In the cybersecurity realm, CES goes beyond reselling tools by operating state-of-the-art Security Operations Centers (SOCs) that provide 24/7/365 monitoring and incident response. Their "Cyber-Physical" approach is also unique, integrating physical security technology—such as intelligent video analytics and thermal imaging—with traditional IT security to provide a holistic safety ecosystem for industries like retail and manufacturing. Additionally, their IoT and Asset Management solutions are highly specialized, offering deep vertical integration for logistics and supply chain monitoring. By combining these disparate technologies into a unified management portal, CES provides organizations with a "single pane of glass" view of their entire digital and physical operational landscape, an advantage that simplifies management for lean IT teams.
Ideal Customer Profile
The ideal customer for Claro Enterprise Solutions is a mid-to-large enterprise (500 to 5,000+ employees) that operates with a multi-regional footprint, particularly those with significant business interests in the United States and Latin America.
Key industries include Logistics, Retail, Finance, and Manufacturing. These organizations typically have a medium level of technical maturity—they have moved some workloads to the cloud but require a partner to manage the complexity of secure networking and cross-border connectivity. They value "one-stop-shop" simplicity and are looking to consolidate multiple local vendors into a single global provider with localized support. Companies with a lean IT staff that need to outsource 24/7 security monitoring and network management are particularly well-suited for Claro's managed services.
