CloudPlus: Streamline Your Multi-Vendor SaaS Management
CloudPlus provides a private-label service management platform that enables MSPs to automate the delivery, billing, and management of cloud hosted services.
Overview
CloudPlus is a leading provider of cloud service management and orchestration platforms, specifically designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and Communications Service Providers (CSPs). Founded with the mission to simplify the complexities of the cloud, CloudPlus offers a comprehensive private-label platform that centralizes the procurement, provisioning, and management of essential business applications. Their portfolio encompasses a wide range of hosted services, including productivity suites, advanced security solutions, backup and disaster recovery, and communication tools.
Since its inception, CloudPlus has focused on removing the friction inherent in managing multiple vendor portals. By consolidating these services into a single, brandable dashboard, they enable partners to scale their operations without a linear increase in headcount. The company serves a global market, catering to service providers ranging from boutique regional MSPs to large-scale telecommunications firms. CloudPlus has established a significant market presence by acting as a strategic bridge between world-class software vendors and the channel partners who deliver those solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Their business focus remains steadfast on empowering the channel through automation, integrated billing, and a unified user experience.
Positioning
CloudPlus positions itself as the "Operating System for the Modern MSP." Their competitive strategy focuses on being the invisible engine behind a service provider's success, emphasizing white-labeling and brand ownership for the partner. In a market dominated by massive distributors that often compete with their own partners or offer fragmented experiences, CloudPlus positions itself as a partner-centric alternative that prioritizes the MSP’s brand over its own.
Their messaging targets the "operational maturity" of service providers, speaking directly to the pain points of manual billing, vendor sprawl, and support inefficiencies. By positioning their platform as a productivity multiplier rather than just a procurement tool, they differentiate from traditional Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs). Their brand positioning is built on the pillars of simplicity, integration, and profitability, aiming to be seen as a strategic ally that helps partners move up the value chain by focusing on high-margin services rather than low-level administrative tasks.
Differentiation
The CloudPlus platform is engineered around a proprietary "Single Pane of Glass" architecture that goes beyond simple SSO. Its core differentiator is the native integration depth across disparate SaaS ecosystems, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and various security suites. Key technical advantages include a robust automated provisioning engine that reduces service delivery time from hours to seconds and a sophisticated white-label interface that allows MSPs to maintain brand consistency throughout the customer lifecycle. The platform features an integrated billing reconciliation engine that solves one of the most significant pain points for service providers: ensuring that what is provisioned matches what is invoiced. Furthermore, CloudPlus offers "In-Platform Support," allowing end-users to trigger support workflows directly within the application, which are then routed to the MSP, creating a seamless service experience that competitors often require third-party tools to replicate.
Ideal Customer Profile
The ideal CloudPlus customer is an organization that sits at the intersection of high-volume SaaS consumption and complex management needs. This includes:
- Company Size: Mid-market to Enterprise (100–5,000+ employees) or Managed Service Providers (MSPs) of any size.
- Industry: Particularly strong in IT Services, Telecommunications, Finance, and Healthcare where audit trails and billing precision are paramount.
- Technical Maturity: Organizations that already use or sell Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace but are frustrated by the native management portals.
- Budget: Organizations with a cloud spend exceeding $5,000/month, where the efficiency gains of automation outweigh the platform subscription cost.
Best Fit
CloudPlus is an ideal fit for:
- White-Label Resellers: Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Telcos that want to offer a branded, unified marketplace to their end customers without building a platform from scratch.
- Multi-SaaS Environments: Organizations struggling with 'SaaS sprawl' that need a single pane of glass to manage licenses for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and security tools.
- Automated Provisioning Needs: Companies looking to eliminate manual ticketing for license assignments; CloudPlus excels at instant, API-driven fulfillment.
- Consolidated Billing Operations: Finance teams burdened by reconciling hundreds of individual SaaS invoices who require a single, aggregated monthly bill.
Offerings
CloudPlus offers several editions tailored to different business models:
- CloudPlus Reseller Edition: Designed for MSPs and VARs. Includes the white-label storefront, margin management, and PSA integrations.
- CloudPlus Enterprise Edition: Built for internal IT teams. Focuses on 'Private Marketplace' capabilities, internal department chargebacks, and deep security integrations.
- CloudPlus Distributor Edition: A high-scale version for Tier-1 distributors managing multiple sub-resellers, featuring advanced hierarchical reporting and global currency support.
- Add-on Modules: Specific 'Connectors' for third-party tools (e.g., specialized security or backup vendors) can be added to any base edition.

Everything you need to evaluate CloudPlus — from features and pricing to implementation and security.
Introduction
Welcome to the CloudPlus Evaluation Guide. As organizations migrate more of their infrastructure to the cloud, the complexity of managing disparate SaaS licenses, billing cycles, and user provisioning has reached a breaking point. CloudPlus addresses this by providing a unified service delivery platform designed to streamline the entire cloud lifecycle. This guide is intended for IT leaders, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and procurement officers who need to simplify their cloud operations. You will learn about the platform’s core automation capabilities, its unique white-labeling features, and the technical requirements necessary to transform your SaaS management from a manual burden into a scalable, automated revenue or cost-saving engine.
Key Features
CloudPlus focuses on three core pillars of cloud management:
Unified Management & Provisioning
- Single Pane of Glass: Manage multiple vendors (Microsoft, Google, Security) from one dashboard.
- Instant Provisioning: Real-time license assignment and removal, eliminating the delay between purchase and productivity.
- User Management: Centralized control over user identities across various cloud services.
Automated Billing & Commerce
- White-Label Storefront: A fully brandable marketplace where end-users can browse and purchase services.
- Prorated Billing: Automatic calculation of mid-month license changes to ensure billing accuracy without manual intervention.
- Multi-Tiered Distribution: Support for complex reseller chains, allowing for different pricing tiers and margins across various customer segments.
Analytics & Reporting
- Usage Tracking: Insight into which licenses are active versus assigned to help reduce waste.
- Margin Analysis: For resellers, real-time visibility into the profitability of specific cloud bundles.
- Audit Logs: Detailed records of all provisioning actions for security and compliance tracking.
Use Cases
1. The Scaling MSP: An MSP managing 50 customers was spending 20 hours a week on manual Microsoft 365 billing. By implementing CloudPlus, they automated the sync between the Microsoft Partner Center and their PSA, reducing billing time to 30 minutes.
2. The Enterprise IT Department: A global firm with multiple subsidiaries used CloudPlus to create a 'Private Storefront.' This allowed local IT managers to provision their own approved software while the central HQ maintained oversight of total spend and security compliance.
3. The Telecom Provider: A regional Telco used the white-label capabilities of CloudPlus to launch a 'Cloud Office' bundle (Internet + M365 + Security). This increased their Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) by 25% within the first year.
4. Security Compliance: A healthcare provider used the CloudPlus audit logs to prove that access to cloud-based PHI (Protected Health Information) was immediately revoked for terminated employees, satisfying HIPAA audit requirements.
Pricing Models
CloudPlus typically operates on a SaaS Subscription + Usage model:
- Platform Fee: A monthly or annual recurring cost for access to the platform, white-labeling capabilities, and administrative tools.
- Tiered Licensing: Pricing often scales based on the number of 'Seats' or 'Users' managed through the platform.
- No Hidden Transaction Fees: Unlike some marketplaces, CloudPlus generally does not take a percentage of the underlying SaaS spend, focusing instead on the management software value.
- Implementation Services: Optional one-time fees for white-glove setup, data migration, and custom API development.
Technical Requirements
CloudPlus is a cloud-native SaaS platform, requiring minimal on-premise infrastructure:
- Web Browser: Optimized for the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Connectivity: Stable internet connection; no specialized hardware or servers required.
- API Access: If integrating with local PSAs or ERPs, outbound HTTPS access to CloudPlus API endpoints is required.
- Identity: An active Microsoft Partner Center or Google Workspace reseller account is required for the respective integrations to function.
Business Requirements
To successfully adopt CloudPlus, organizations should meet the following prerequisites:
- Administrative Access: You must have global admin credentials for the primary SaaS vendors you intend to manage (e.g., Microsoft Partner Center, Google Admin Console).
- Finance Integration Readiness: A clear understanding of your current billing cycles and tax requirements is necessary to configure the automated invoicing engine.
- Process Mapping: Stakeholders should document existing onboarding/offboarding workflows to ensure the CloudPlus automation matches company policy.
- Change Management: While the platform is intuitive, a designated 'Platform Owner' is recommended to manage the relationship with upstream vendors and downstream customers or departments.
Implementation Timeline
A typical CloudPlus implementation follows this schedule:
- Phase 1: Discovery & Strategy (Week 1): Defining the service catalog, branding requirements for white-labeling, and identifying primary integration points.
- Phase 2: Platform Configuration (Week 2): Setting up the custom domain, uploading logos, and configuring the pricing engine and margin rules.
- Phase 3: Integration & Sync (Weeks 3-4): Connecting Microsoft/Google environments, syncing existing customer data, and validating API handshakes.
- Phase 4: UAT & Training (Week 5): User acceptance testing of the storefront and administrative training for the support and billing teams.
- Phase 5: Go-Live (Week 6): Transitioning active billing and provisioning to the CloudPlus platform.
Support Options
CloudPlus provides a tiered support structure to ensure platform stability:
- Standard Support: Includes access to a comprehensive knowledge base, ticket-based email support, and community forums.
- Premium Support: Offers 24/7 emergency phone support for critical platform outages and faster SLA response times for standard inquiries.
- Dedicated Account Management: Enterprise-tier customers receive a dedicated CSM to assist with roadmap planning and platform optimization.
- Professional Services: Available for complex migrations, custom integration builds, and brand strategy for resellers.
Integration Requirements
CloudPlus is designed as an 'Integration-First' platform:
- Native Connectors: Deep, pre-built integrations for Microsoft 365 (CSP), Google Workspace, Bitdefender, Proofpoint, and SkyKick.
- PSA/CRM Integration: Bi-directional sync with industry-standard PSA tools like ConnectWise Manage and Autotask to ensure billing accuracy.
- REST API: A robust API for custom integrations, allowing developers to pull data into internal ERPs or push orders from external web-forms.
- SSO Support: Integration with Azure AD or Okta for secure, single-sign-on access to the management portal.
Security & Compliance
Security is a foundational element of the CloudPlus architecture:
- Data Residency: Options to ensure data is stored in specific geographic regions to comply with local laws.
- Compliance Standards: The platform is built to support SOC 2 Type II compliance and adheres to GDPR data privacy requirements.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Mandatory MFA support for all administrative accounts.
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Granular permissions to ensure staff only see the data and tools necessary for their specific job function.
- Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols.
