Optimize Your Enterprise Network with EnTelegent Solutions
EnTelegent Solutions provides comprehensive managed network, telecommunications, and cloud services for multi-location enterprises seeking consolidated vendor management.
Overview
EnTelegent Solutions is a premier Managed Solutions Provider (MSP) and Aggregator that specializes in simplifying the complex communications and networking needs of multi-location enterprises. Founded on the principle of streamlining fragmented technology environments, EnTelegent provides a comprehensive suite of services including Managed SD-WAN, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), high-speed internet aggregation, and legacy voice migration.
With a significant market presence in North America, EnTelegent serves a wide range of industries including retail, healthcare, finance, and decentralized enterprise organizations. Their primary value proposition centers on their ability to manage the entire lifecycle of a client's network—from initial design and sourcing to implementation, 24/7/365 monitoring, and consolidated billing. By acting as a single-source provider, they alleviate the "vendor sprawl" that often plagues large organizations, replacing dozens of disparate carrier relationships with one strategic partnership.
Historically, EnTelegent has evolved from a telecommunications brokerage and billing aggregator into a full-scale managed services firm. This evolution has been driven by the increasing complexity of cloud-first architectures and the need for reliable, secure connectivity. Today, their business focus is on enabling digital transformation by providing the underlying infrastructure and management expertise required to support modern cloud applications. Their portfolio is designed to bridge the gap between legacy infrastructure and next-generation networking, ensuring that clients can transition to modern technologies like SD-WAN and SIP Trunking at their own pace without operational disruption.
Positioning
EnTelegent Solutions positions itself as the "Aggregator of Choice" for enterprises that have outgrown the capabilities of local providers but find Tier-1 carriers too impersonal and inflexible. Their competitive positioning strategy focuses on the "Power of One"—one contract, one invoice, and one support team for all global communication needs.
In a market often split between hardware-focused VARs and infrastructure-heavy carriers, EnTelegent occupies the strategic middle ground as a service-led provider. Their messaging emphasizes "Simplified Solutions for Complex Networks," targeting IT leaders who are overwhelmed by the administrative overhead of managing multiple circuits and vendors. They differentiate from competitors by highlighting their carrier neutrality; whereas a carrier will always recommend their own fiber, EnTelegent positions themselves as a consultant that selects the best-performing circuit for the specific location and budget.
Their brand identity is built on reliability and transparency. By offering a high-touch alternative to the automated "no-man's-land" of large telecom support queues, they position themselves as a high-value partner for mission-critical connectivity. This positioning resonates particularly well with distributed enterprises—such as retail chains or medical groups—where consistent uptime across hundreds of sites is paramount, and the internal IT staff cannot afford to spend hours on the phone with various carrier help desks.
Differentiation
The primary product differentiator for EnTelegent Solutions is their ability to deliver a truly "vendor-neutral" managed services ecosystem. While many providers are locked into specific carrier backbones, EnTelegent aggregates services from over 150 carriers, allowing them to design bespoke hybrid networks that utilize the best available technology at every individual client site—whether that is SD-WAN, broadband, fiber, or wireless LTE/5G.
A key technical advantage is their consolidated management portal, which provides a single pane of glass for multi-carrier environments. This platform integrates disparate billing formats into one clear, actionable invoice and provides real-time visibility into circuit performance across the entire estate. Their SD-WAN and UCaaS offerings are not "off-the-shelf" but are engineered to be carrier-agnostic, ensuring maximum uptime through intelligent failover and diverse path routing. Furthermore, their Managed Network Services (MNS) include a proactive monitoring layer that identifies and remediates issues before they impact the end-user, a capability that leverages their deep engineering expertise to provide more granular control than standard automated tools. This combination of aggregation, integration, and proactive engineering allows EnTelegent to provide enterprise-grade resilience with the flexibility of a boutique provider.
Ideal Customer Profile

Introduction
Welcome to the evaluation guide for EnTelegent Solutions. In an era where enterprise connectivity is increasingly complex, EnTelegent positions itself as a "Managed Solutions Provider" that bridges the gap between major telecommunications carriers and the end enterprise. This guide is designed for IT leaders, procurement specialists, and CIOs who are burdened by the administrative weight of managing dozens of carriers, complex billing, and aging infrastructure.
Throughout this guide, you will learn how EnTelegent’s "Single Source" approach—combining wholesale carrier aggregation with proprietary management software—can streamline your operations. We will examine their core offerings in telecom expense management (TEM), SD-WAN, and POTS replacement, providing you with the technical and business criteria necessary to determine if they are the right partner for your digital transformation journey.
Key Features
- EnTele-Billing (Invoice Consolidation): Aggregates services from hundreds of carriers into a single, standardized monthly invoice with customized GL-coding for automated accounting.
- Managed Network Services: Design, deployment, and 24/7 monitoring of SD-WAN, MPLS, and broadband circuits, providing a vendor-agnostic approach to connectivity.
- POTS Replacement (EnTele-POTS): A digital solution for critical life-safety lines (alarms, elevators, fax) that replaces expensive, end-of-life analog copper lines with LTE/VoIP-backed hardware.
- The EnTele-Portal: A centralized dashboard for real-time visibility into inventory, order tracking, trouble tickets, and spend analytics across the entire enterprise footprint.
- Dedicated Account Management: Unlike direct carriers, EnTelegent provides a single point of contact for all service issues, regardless of which underlying carrier is providing the loop.
- Telecom Expense Management (TEM): Proactive auditing of carrier invoices to identify billing errors, unused services, and optimization opportunities.
Use Cases
- Retail Chain Modernization: A national retailer with 500 stores uses EnTelegent to replace expensive analog phone lines at every location with a managed LTE-based POTS replacement, saving 40% on monthly recurring costs.
- Healthcare Multi-Site Management: A regional hospital system uses EnTelegent to consolidate 20 different internet service providers into one managed SD-WAN fabric, ensuring HIPAA-compliant connectivity for telehealth.
- Financial Services Audit: A mid-market bank engages EnTelegent to perform a historical audit of their telecom spend, uncovering $50k in annual billing errors and consolidating 100+ invoices into one.
- Hybrid Workforce Deployment: A professional services firm uses EnTelegent’s UCaaS and managed broadband to provide seamless voice and data services for both their corporate HQ and satellite offices.
Pricing Models
- Managed Services Fee: Typically a monthly recurring charge (MRC) based on the number of sites or active circuits under management.
- Wholesale Aggregation: EnTelegent buys carrier services at wholesale rates and passes a consolidated price to the customer; the "margin" is often offset by the administrative savings for the buyer.
- Project-Based Fees: One-time charges (NRC) for hardware installation, site surveys, or initial "clean-up" audits of legacy environments.
- Contingency Auditing: In some TEM engagements, fees may be based on a percentage of the recovered overcharges from carriers.
- Tiered Licensing: The EnTele-Portal access levels may vary based on the depth of analytics and number of seats required.
Technical Requirements
- Web Browser: Access to the EnTele-Portal requires a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox).
- On-Premise Hardware: For POTS replacement or SD-WAN, EnTelegent provides managed edge devices that require rack space and power (typically 1U/2U).
- Network Access: Outbound HTTPS access (Port 443) for management traffic from on-premise devices to EnTelegent’s monitoring platform.
- Connectivity: While EnTelegent provides the circuits, the client must have internal cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) up to the demarc or MPOE.
- Client OS: No specific OS requirements as the management interface is cloud-based.
Business Requirements
- Centralized Decision Making: While EnTelegent manages the execution, the organization needs a centralized point of contact (Telecom Manager or IT Director) to approve orders and strategy.
- Inventory Readiness: To maximize the value of their auditing services, buyers should have access to existing contracts and past invoices, though EnTelegent can assist in "discovery" through Letters of Agency (LOA).
- Change Management: Shifting from direct carrier relationships to a managed services model requires internal alignment to ensure site managers understand the new support protocol (calling EnTelegent instead of the local carrier).
- Stakeholder Buy-in: Financial stakeholders should be involved early to define the requirements for GL-coding and invoice integration into ERP systems.
Implementation Timeline
- Discovery & Audit (Weeks 1-4): Collection of existing invoices, signing of LOAs, and identification of all active services across all locations.
