Secure Your Business Growth with Logically Managed IT Services
Logically provides nationwide Managed IT and Cybersecurity services for mid-market organizations, leveraging their OpLogic platform to deliver proactive, secure, and scalable technology solutions.
Overview
Logically is a leading national Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) headquartered in Portland, Maine, with a significant footprint across the United States. Founded in 1999, the company has grown through a combination of organic innovation and strategic acquisitions to become one of the most prominent players in the mid-market IT services space. Logically serves a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, finance, legal, and manufacturing, providing them with the critical infrastructure and security needed to compete in a digital-first economy.
The company’s core offerings encompass a full spectrum of IT lifecycle management, including managed IT services, advanced cybersecurity, cloud migration, and professional services. Logically’s primary mission is to help organizations leverage technology as a competitive advantage rather than a cost center. They achieve this by providing 24/7/365 monitoring, a dedicated Security Operations Center (SOC), and strategic IT consulting (vCISO/vCIO services). With a workforce of hundreds of certified engineers and security professionals, Logically possesses the scale to handle complex, multi-site enterprise environments while maintaining the localized service touch that mid-market firms require. Their market presence is characterized by high customer retention rates and a reputation for technical excellence in high-compliance environments.
Positioning
Logically positions itself as the premier "Strategic IT Ally" for the mid-market, sitting between small, local IT shops that lack depth and massive global integrators that lack personalized service. Their messaging centers on the concept of "Confidence in Technology," aiming to alleviate the "IT anxiety" felt by executives who worry about cyber threats and operational scalability.
In a crowded market, Logically differentiates its brand by leading with security. While many competitors treat security as an add-on service, Logically positions it as the foundation of all IT operations. Their marketing emphasizes the "OpLogic" advantage—highlighting how automation and intelligence lead to more uptime and fewer interruptions compared to traditional reactive models. They target organizations that have outgrown their current IT support or those in highly regulated industries that require a partner capable of meeting rigorous compliance standards (such as HIPAA, PCI, or CMMC). By positioning themselves as a partner that manages risk as much as they manage servers, Logically appeals to the C-suite's desire for business continuity and long-term strategic planning.
Differentiation
The cornerstone of Logically’s product differentiation is OpLogic, their proprietary Intelligent Managed Services platform. OpLogic goes beyond standard Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools by incorporating advanced automation and self-healing capabilities. This allows the system to identify and remediate common technical issues before they impact the end-user, significantly reducing downtime and ticket volume.
From a security perspective, Logically offers a comprehensive "Security First" suite that integrates Managed Detection and Response (MDR), endpoint protection, and sophisticated backup/disaster recovery solutions into a unified framework. Their product strategy focuses on "Secure by Design" infrastructure, ensuring that every cloud migration or network deployment is hardened against modern threats from day one. Additionally, their CloudLogically offering provides a highly optimized private and hybrid cloud environment that offers better cost predictability and performance tuning than many "out-of-the-box" public cloud providers. By blending automation with expert human oversight, their products provide a level of operational resilience that is difficult to achieve through fragmented, multi-vendor strategies.
Ideal Customer Profile
The ideal Logically customer is a mid-market organization (50–500 employees) that views technology as a strategic asset rather than just a utility. They typically operate in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, or Government Contracting.
Technically, they are often in a "hybrid" state—transitioning from on-premise servers to cloud environments like Microsoft 365 or Azure. The ideal customer is looking to outsource the "heavy lifting" of IT (24/7 monitoring, help desk, and security) so their internal leadership can focus on business-specific applications and digital transformation. They have a budget that prioritizes uptime and security over the lowest-possible "per-seat" price.

- Financial Services: A wealth management firm partners with Logically for "Security-First" MSP services to meet rigorous SEC cybersecurity audits and protect high-value client data.
Pricing Models
Logically typically operates on a Fixed-Fee, Per-User, or Per-Device monthly subscription model.
- Main Cost Drivers: Number of employees (users), number of servers, and the level of security compliance required.
- Tiers: They offer different service levels ranging from "Foundation" (basic monitoring and support) to "Fully Managed" (all-inclusive support and advanced security).
- What’s Included: Most contracts include 24/7 help desk, remote monitoring, patch management, and vCIO services.
- Additional Costs: On-site hardware refreshes, major project work (outside of the MSA scope), and advanced compliance certifications (like CMMC audit prep) are typically billed separately.
- Predictability: The model is designed to move IT from a Capital Expenditure (CapEx) to a predictable Operational Expenditure (OpEx).
Technical Requirements
Logically is flexible but performs best in environments meeting these standards:
- Operating Systems: Modern Windows (10/11) and Windows Server (2016+) environments. Support for macOS is available but may have different tooling.
- Network Hardware: Preference for business-class networking gear (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti) that supports remote monitoring.
- Connectivity: Minimum stable broadband connection for remote management agents; SD-WAN is recommended for multi-site clients.
- Cloud: Active Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant for identity and collaboration management.
- Hardware Age: To maintain SLAs, Logically may require hardware to be under manufacturer warranty.
Business Requirements
To successfully partner with Logically, organizations should prepare the following:
- Internal Liaison: Identify a primary point of contact (often an IT Manager or COO) to work with Logically’s Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO).
- Documentation Access: Readiness to provide existing network diagrams, software inventories, and third-party vendor contracts.
- Change Management: A willingness to adopt standardized IT processes. Logically’s value is highest when clients follow their proven "best practice" frameworks rather than maintaining legacy "ad-hoc" workflows.
- Stakeholder Buy-in: Executive-level agreement on the shift from a "reactive" (break-fix) mindset to a "proactive" (managed) IT investment model.
Implementation Timeline
A typical Logically onboarding takes 8 to 12 weeks, depending on environment complexity:
- Phase 1: Discovery & Assessment (Weeks 1-2): Deep dive into current infrastructure, security gaps, and business goals.
- Phase 2: Tool Deployment (Weeks 3-4): Installation of monitoring agents, security software (EDR/MDR), and backup solutions.
- Phase 3: Remediation (Weeks 5-8): Addressing critical vulnerabilities or "red flags" identified during discovery to bring the environment up to baseline standards.
- Phase 4: Training & Documentation (Weeks 9-10): Staff training on how to use the service desk, documentation of all systems in the Logically portal.
- Phase 5: Go-Live & Handover (Weeks 11-12): Full transition to Logically's 24/7 Support Center and first Strategic Business Review (SBR).
Support Options
