Procurri: Sustainable IT Lifecycle & Data Center Solutions
Procurri provides global IT lifecycle services and data center hardware solutions, helping enterprises maximize ROI and sustainability through a circular economy.
Overview
Procurri is a leading global provider of IT lifecycle services and data center hardware solutions. Headquartered in Singapore and listed on the Singapore Exchange, the company has established a robust international footprint with operational hubs across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Procurri serves as a critical link in the technology supply chain, specializing in the "Circular Economy" for enterprise IT.
The company’s core business is divided into two primary segments: Hardware Distribution and Lifecycle Services. In the Hardware segment, Procurri acts as a global aggregator, sourcing and supplying high-quality refurbished and new-open-box servers, storage, and networking equipment from major OEMs like HPE, Dell, Cisco, and IBM. In the Lifecycle Services segment, they provide Third-Party Maintenance (TPM) and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services.
Founded to address the inefficiencies in the traditional IT hardware market, Procurri has grown through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. They target a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from mid-market enterprises to Fortune 500 companies, typically reaching them through a robust network of channel partners. Their focus is on helping these organizations extend the life of their technology investments, reduce capital expenditure (CapEx), and meet increasingly stringent corporate sustainability goals. By providing a bridge between the primary and secondary IT markets, Procurri enables a more sustainable and financially efficient approach to infrastructure management.
Positioning
Procurri positions itself as the premier "Independent Global Provider" of IT lifecycle solutions. Their market positioning is strategically wedged between traditional OEMs and local "mom-and-pop" recyclers. While OEMs push for frequent "rip-and-replace" cycles, Procurri advocates for "Life Extension," positioning themselves as the pragmatic choice for CFOs and CTOs looking to optimize IT spend.
Their messaging focuses on three core pillars: Sustainability, Savings, and Security.
- Sustainability: They leverage the Circular Economy narrative, positioning themselves as a key enabler for companies aiming to achieve Net Zero targets.
- Savings: They compete directly with OEM maintenance contracts, often offering 50-70% savings on support for post-warranty equipment.
- Security: Through their rigorous ITAD processes, they position themselves as a low-risk partner for data-sensitive industries like finance and healthcare.
Unlike many competitors who focus solely on one region or one specific service (like just hardware sales), Procurri’s brand is built on "Global Consistency." They position their ability to execute identical service levels across different geographies as a major competitive advantage for multinational enterprises. In the competitive landscape, they distinguish themselves from other TPM and ITAD providers by their massive global inventory and their strict adherence to a channel-only sales model, which fosters trust and long-term loyalty among IT resellers and service providers.
Differentiation
Procurri’s product and service portfolio is built around the concept of the "IT Lifecycle," offering a seamless transition between new hardware acquisition, maintenance, and end-of-life disposal. Key differentiators include:
- Global Third-Party Maintenance (TPM): Procurri offers hardware support that is significantly more cost-effective than Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) support. Their ability to provide multi-vendor support under a single contract simplifies operations for complex data centers.
- Certified Refurbishment & Distribution: They maintain a massive inventory of high-quality, refurbished server, storage, and networking equipment. This allows organizations to maintain legacy systems or scale capacity without the lead times or price tags associated with new OEM hardware.
- Advanced IT Asset Disposition (ITAD): Their ITAD services go beyond simple recycling. They prioritize data security with certified data erasure and destruction, followed by a rigorous refurbishment process that maximizes the resale value of retired assets, often returning significant capital to the client.
- Supply Chain Resilience: In an era of hardware shortages, Procurri’s global stock of pre-owned equipment provides a critical buffer, allowing businesses to bypass supply chain bottlenecks.
- Carbon Tracking Tools: Their proprietary reporting tools allow customers to quantify the environmental impact of their hardware choices, providing specific metrics on energy savings and carbon footprint reduction.
Ideal Customer Profile
The ideal Procurri customer is a mid-to-large enterprise or service provider with a significant physical hardware footprint.
- Size: Organizations with $500M+ in revenue or those managing 500+ server/storage nodes.
- Industries: Financial services, Healthcare, Telecommunications, and Government agencies where data security and uptime are critical.
- Maturity: Companies with a mature IT procurement process that are looking for 'Hybrid Maintenance' strategies (OEM for newest gear, TPM for the rest).
- Sustainability Focus: Organizations with public-facing ESG goals that need documented proof of responsible hardware recycling and carbon footprint reduction.
- Global Presence: Companies operating in multiple regions that struggle with fragmented support from local hardware vendors.
Best Fit
Procurri is the ideal partner for organizations looking to break away from the traditional OEM 'refresh or perish' cycle. They excel in:
- Post-Warranty Maintenance: Companies with stable data center environments (storage, server, networking) that are nearing End-of-Service-Life (EOSL) but still perform reliably.
- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) & Sustainability: Organizations with aggressive ESG goals that need a certified partner to securely decommission hardware while maximizing resale value or ensuring carbon-neutral recycling.
- Global Logistics & Support: Multinational firms that need a single point of contact for hardware maintenance and logistics across different continents, especially in regions where OEM support is prohibitively expensive or slow.
- Hybrid Cloud Transitions: Businesses moving to the cloud who need to maintain their legacy on-premise hardware for a bridge period without committing to long-term OEM contracts.
Offerings
Procurri categorizes its offerings into three distinct business units:
- Lifecycle Services (Maintenance): This is the core 'Third-Party Maintenance' offering. It includes 24/7 support, parts replacement, and onsite engineering for post-warranty hardware.
- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD): A full-service retirement program. Includes on-site data destruction, secure logistics, and 'Value Recovery' (reselling hardware to recoup costs).
- Hardware Resale & Distribution: The sale of 'Certified Pre-Owned' equipment. This includes everything from individual components (RAM, HDDs) to fully configured enterprise-grade servers and storage arrays.
- Professional Services: Specialized project-based work such as data center audits, relocations, 'Smart Hands' remote assistance, and infrastructure deployments.

Whether you are looking to support legacy storage or securely retire a global fleet of servers, this guide provides the framework for a successful partnership.
Key Features
Procurri’s value proposition is built around three core pillars: Lifecycle Services, Sustainability, and Global Logistics.
- Third-Party Maintenance (TPM): Provides vendor-agnostic support for servers, storage, and networking hardware. Key benefits include savings of 40-70% compared to OEM support and the ability to maintain equipment long after the OEM declares it EOSL.
- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD): A comprehensive suite of services for retiring hardware, including secure data erasure (Blancco-certified), physical destruction, and a global remarketing network that returns value to the customer's budget.
- Hardware Distribution: Access to a vast global inventory of certified pre-owned (CPO) equipment. This allows for rapid scaling or replacement of parts without the long lead times currently plaguing the new-hardware market.
- Sustainability Analytics: Detailed reporting on carbon footprint reduction and waste diversion. This helps organizations quantify their contribution to the circular economy for ESG reporting.
- Global Service Reach: With a presence in over 100 countries, Procurri offers localized support and spares 'on the ground,' ensuring consistent Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regardless of geography.
Use Cases
- Data Center Consolidation: A global bank closing several regional offices used Procurri to decommission thousands of servers. Procurri handled the secure data erasure on-site, transported the gear, and sold the viable components, resulting in a six-figure credit back to the bank’s IT budget.
- Extending Storage Life: A healthcare provider’s high-end storage arrays reached EOSL with the OEM. Instead of a forced $2M upgrade, they moved to Procurri for maintenance, extending the hardware life by 3 years and saving $800k in OpEx.
- Global Network Support: A logistics company with warehouses in 20 countries needed consistent support for Cisco networking gear. Procurri provided a single global contract with localized spares, replacing 15 different local vendors.
- Supply Chain Mitigation: During a global chip shortage, a tech firm needed to scale their dev environment immediately. Procurri provided certified pre-owned HPE servers within 10 days, a task that had a 6-month lead time through the OEM.
Pricing Models
Procurri's pricing is designed to be more flexible and transparent than traditional OEM models:
- Maintenance Contracts: Typically priced per asset per year. Unlike OEMs, there are no 'penalties' for older equipment; pricing is based on the complexity of the hardware and the required SLA (e.g., 24x7x4 or Next Business Day).
- ITAD Revenue Share: For asset disposition, Procurri often operates on a revenue-share model where the cost of logistics and data destruction is offset by the resale value of the refurbished hardware.
- Fixed-Fee Services: One-time projects like data center relocations or massive data sanitization events are usually quoted on a fixed-fee basis.
- Hardware Sales: Competitive market-based pricing for certified pre-owned equipment, often significantly lower than list prices for new equivalents.
- Cost Drivers: Geography, density of assets, and the specific SLA requirements are the primary variables affecting total contract value.
Technical Requirements
Because Procurri provides services and hardware rather than a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product, technical requirements focus on accessibility and environment:
- Connectivity: Access to the PROView web portal via modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) for ticket management.
- Remote Access (Optional): To expedite troubleshooting, customers may choose to provide secure remote access (VPN or secure gateway) for Procurri engineers to diagnose hardware issues.
- Environmental Standards: For on-site maintenance, data centers must meet standard safety and accessibility requirements for field engineers.
- Firmware/Software: Customers must have legal access to the necessary firmware and microcode updates, as TPMs generally do not provide OEM-proprietary software patches (though they can assist in the installation of customer-owned software).
Business Requirements
To successfully engage with Procurri, an organization should have:
- Asset Inventory Clarity: A centralized list of hardware assets, including serial numbers and current firmware versions, to facilitate accurate maintenance quoting.
- Sustainability Mandates: Buy-in from the C-suite or ESG officers to prioritize circular economy principles over 'buying new' by default.
- Internal Technical Liaison: A designated point of contact (Data Center Manager or IT Procurement Lead) who understands the existing infrastructure landscape.
- Change Management: A willingness to move away from OEM-specific support portals to a third-party maintenance (TPM) model, which may require updating internal ticketing workflows.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of regional data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) to align with Procurri's data destruction protocols.
